Hello World

May 16, 2012

I’ve decided to start my blog in order to discuss a variety of topics from the taboo of politics and religion to the metaphysical. I am a Facebook drop-out. Why? Because one of Facebook’s co-founders, Eduardo Saverin denounced his U.S. citizenship so he wouldn’t have to pay capital gains tax from what he will make from Facebook. That, and the fact that Zuckenberg and a handful of Facebook employees will pay very little tax due to a tax loophole designed for the wealthy. Here’s the link: http://www.theatlanticwire.com/business/2012/05/facebooks-1-percent-loopholes-zuckerberg-and-friends-taxes-employees/52321/

I refuse to support the anti-American freeloaders  at Facebook. That’s why I  will cancel my Facebook account within a few days in order to give me time to post my new blog address.

Everyone is invited to participate. I have an open mind for rational thought. I will not tolerate, however, name calling, profanity toward another person or the irrational Tea party conservative.

Since this is all new to me you’ll have to bear with me until I figure out how this system works.

added you to favorites… I’ll drop in from time to time. My late Bro in law used to make ice cream for the Love Boat back in the 80’s… dont’ know Norman Love Chocolates.

    • Thanks, Marcia. Live just down the street from the Love Boat. Norman Love is one of the world’s top chocolate makers. He is located out near Gateway – near the new publicly paid for Red Sox stadium. Have a fun trip.

As I said in my Facebook post you have the best blog on the net. Best of luck. Looking forward to your success.

    • Thanks, John. This is proving more troublesome than I suspected but once I get the hang of it then smooth sailing will prevail.

Is there such a thing as smooth sailing?

I have been fighting my own battle of late and find being the little guy there isn’t much support and all those things we have been fed about workers rights and such really don’t exist and no one will help you unless it is major major money involved. My belief in power to the people is a myth brought on by the “big guys” to give us a false sense of satisfaction.

    • We have not evolved yet to our potentials. There are like-minded people fighting for the common good and there are the trow-backs wanting to keep things as they are for their own benefit, Donna. Thanks for voicing your thoughts.

Thank you Ron, I am surprised and delighted by you the longer I get to know you. Much more than O who I first met.
